World Juniors standings: Updated scores, results for every 2022 IIHF hockey game

The IIHF Junior World Cup 2022 is officially underway in Alberta, Canada.

Ten teams from around the world were divided into groups of two to five teams and are ready to compete until January 5 in search of a gold medal. Although the pre-tournament games were canceled, the 2022 youth world tournament began with the first meeting between Finland and Germany on Sunday, December 26.

Despite having a five-day quarantine period upon arrival, some teams had outbreaks of COVID-19 that forced the pre-tournament schedule to change. With the recent increase in COVID-19 cases around the world, the Canadian government implemented additional restrictions in an attempt to limit the spread. The tournament will continue except for last minute announcements.

Before making the trip to Alberta, Team Canada and Team USA published their lists. A full tournament schedule with the results of each match can be found below.

This page will serve as a daily guide to the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championships from the discus drop until the gold medal is awarded.
