What time is the NFL game tonight? TV schedule, channel for Chiefs vs. Chargers in Week 15

The penultimate game of the season “Thursday Night Football” will take place in Week 15, and it’s bound to be good. The Chargers and Chiefs will face off in a battle that will decide how much resistance the Chiefs will face on their way to their sixth straight AFC West division title.

There is still time for the Chargers to catch their rivals. The Chiefs (9-4) have just a one-game lead over Los Angeles (8-5) for the top spot in the division. However, Kansas City will certainly be motivated to win this one, as the Chargers beat them 30-24 at Arrowhead Stadium earlier in the season.

Can Justin Herbert and the Chargers repeat their magical win over the Chiefs from Week 3? Or will Patrick Mahomes and the fiery Chiefs defense continue to build their six-game winning streak?

We will find out very soon, as the showdown between these two is scheduled to begin at 8:20 pm ET at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Below is everything you need to know about the television schedule for the NFL Week 15 opener between the Chiefs and Chargers, plus a look at the rest of the NFL schedule for this week.

NFL Week 15 Schedule

The game Chargers vs. Chiefs will be the first of 16 NFL games in Week 14. The two teams are vying for position atop the packed AFC West, but the Chiefs currently have the upper hand. If they can win, they will prepare to win the division title for the sixth year in a row with Andy Reid.

The other two primetime games of Week 15 will also be divisional matchups, although they are slightly less important. The Buccaneers have a dominant advantage over the Saints in the NFC South, and they will have a chance to secure a division title with a “Sunday Night Football” victory. Tom Brady has yet to beat the Saints in three regular-season attempts with the Bucs, so that adds importance to this matchup.

“Monday Night Football” will feature the Bears and Vikings. The Vikings are fighting for a playoff spot and both coaches, Minnesota’s Mike Zimmer and Chicago’s Matt Nagy, are fighting for their jobs as the season draws to a close. So, from that point of view, this game could be critical.

One of the funniest matchups on the agenda is the Cardinals traveling to Detroit to face the Lions. The Cardinals are arguably the best team in the league, while the Lions may be the worst. That said, Dan Campbell’s group has played tough when healthy, so perhaps the Lions can stay that close early on to make it interesting.
