What time are the NFL games today? TV schedule, channel for Saturday’s Week 18 doubleheader

The NFL season is drawing to a close, but before fans get to the last Sunday of the regular season, four teams will play on a doubleheader on Saturday.

The first game of the day will be an AFC West showdown between the Broncos and the Chiefs, with Kansas City setting its sights on trying to win the No. 1 seed in the AFC. He needs as much to win on Saturday as he needs the Titans to lose to the Texans on Sunday.

Another divisional showdown will follow on the afternoon board with the two teams going to the playoffs, the Eagles and the Cowboys, playing each other in a showdown that will serve to decide the NFC playoff rankings.

Sporting News has viewers covered with everything they need to know to watch Saturday’s doubleheader.

Here’s how to watch each of Saturday’s NFL games in week 18.

Bosses in Broncos

The pressure is on Kansas City in the first of two games on Saturday.

The Chiefs were in control of their own destiny heading into Week 17 against the Bengals, but a 34-31 loss has put them in need of help to finish as the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Kansas City will now have to beat the Broncos on Saturday night and hope the Texans can beat the Titans on Sunday to secure first-round goodbye and home-field advantage in the playoffs.

If they lose, the Chiefs could fall to the No. 4 seed if the Bengals and Bills win on Sunday. The last time the two met, the Chiefs were outscored 404-267 in total yards, but won the match 22-9.

The Chiefs-Broncos game will feature the network’s best college football roster on the showdown telecast, with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth and Laura Rutledge reporting from the sidelines. John Parry will be the expert on the rules of the game.

The Cowboys are in a similar position to the Chiefs. They had the potential to insert themselves into the conversation for the first pick, although the road was much more challenging for them than Kansas City, as they needed the Packers to lose to the Vikings last week.

Not only did the Packers win, but the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals, which means the most likely outcome for Dallas now is finishing as the No. 4 seed in the NFC. There is still a chance that he could rise to No. 2, but it requires the 49ers to beat the Rams, the Seahawks to beat the Cardinals and the Panthers to beat the Buccaneers, all coupled with a Dallas win over Philadelphia.

The Eagles, on the other hand, are probably looking for No. 7 in the group, but they can also improve their luck with a win. If they beat the Cowboys, it would only take the Rams and Falcons victories over the Saints for Philadelphia to jump to No. 6.

ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” regular team will call Saturday’s primetime showdown, with Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Louis Riddick in the booth and Lisa Salters reporting from the sidelines. Parry will also be the rules expert for that game.
