“My teammates do a great job of telling me to just be me, just go. It doesn’t matter if I’m hot or not.” Edwards said.

“If I’m not throwing the ball, PB [Patrick Beverley] looking at me crazy. Trainer [Chris Finch] looking at me crazy. Everybody looks at me crazy like, ‘What are you doing?’ I think they do a great job of giving me more confidence than I already have. “

Let’s take a look at some of the numbers behind the big sophomore night.

10: youngest with 10 triples in a game

Steph Curry? Klay Thompson? JR Smith? No!

Anthony Edwards stands alone as the youngest player in NBA history to drop 10 3-pointers in a single game.

At 20 years and 132 days, Edwards eclipsed the record previously held by Kyrie Irving (22 years, 311 days) for the youngest to do.

After averaging 2.4 on 32.9 percent of three in his rookie season, Edwards is hitting 3.1 on 8.6 attempts on 36 percent in 28 games this season, while continuing to develop as a shooter from long range.

1: most of the three in franchise history

No other player in Minnesota Timberwolves history has hit more triples in a single game than Anthony Edwards.

Edwards’ 10 3s broke the previous record of eight he held alongside Kevin Love and Stephon Marbury.
